cog·ni·tion n. The mental process of knowing, including aspects such as awareness, perception, reasoning, and judgment.
How would you think that your knowledge differs from that of your peers? Do you even believe it does? Or are you the one who's looking for a peer with a perfect match always? Do you equally argue as you agree to each other?
I have been an ardent admirer of "differences". I talk to people to know how different the individual is. Of course, i got a swelled head when we run into arguments. But hey, you should know that could be one of our differences. Or May be, which probably is, one of our commonalities!
For example, Mumbai Attack - IMO is because of the difference of opinion between blatant religious followers who never learnt to respect differences. Or, the massive jobs cut along with the continually downward economy - IMO is because of cognitive dissonance, ultra optimism or pessimism. Put a considerable difference margin before you make a decision.
Differences do not necessarily lead to destruction. Some people make a difference - so they lead. Differences is one of the sole reason we come up with great ideas. Had it not been different ways of cognition on things, i'd have been scribing these words on some rock.
I wouldnt say let there be no religion as John Lennon said. I say let there be differences among us, but let us learn to appreciate, collaborate and move forward learning from the differences we possess. Let there be many cultures, diverse faces in the community, and let us just change our thoughts - to appreciate that we have different thoughts and that we are all different!
It is complex i know - cos that beats the whole purpose of being different when we all agree to have similar thoughts. But hey, why not make it a commonality while you still remain different in many other things!

Sane thinking but not everyone accept differences, consequently scripting attacks such as Mumbai. Such an irony, no?
Welcome from your "haitus" and strum the worldly pain with your words! ;-)
Nice work again and please do it more often when you are capable of!
