BECK'S!
America's No. 1 imported beer from Germany!
That is how the weekend kicks off formally. And No I ain't drunk yet. I have promises to keep and a long way to go before I sleep.
First Question. Have you ever cared about someone so much that you want them to appear in the scene when they think its the right time, than you thinking NOW is the right time?
Second Question. Have you ever felt so helpless and restless that someone you really care for is having some tough times and you are not really there to care for?
Third Question. Have you ever thought about the consequences that follows when they think you didn't do your best whereas you thought you'd just wait from an input from them.
Fourth Question. Is it always you have to "PROVE" something or some things are just so obvious you can do NOTHING!
I am stopping the questions, apparently of the fear of being called a DRUNK BLOGGER.
Prayers to God, and Blessings to my Sperm!

So , is ELF dead already?
The simple answer is NO.
"PROVE IT"
Sure. Here he is!
Life has been rolling dice(s) on him. He's been changing places, circles, employers! Blame it on the employers not able to sustain him for long cos of their companies running on budget-deficit investment/growth. Well and blame it on him too cos he doesn't want to stick to one as there is always a better opportunity ahead.
He moves from Midwest to Northeast and is driving down West pretty soon. Actually next Sunday, he's setting off for the longest trip he's ever taken. Boston to Phoenix. Talk about "changes" in his life!
"Neologism" has vanished from his life, it seems. Last time he coined a word was "Freaktards" when he was storming out in anger. You know that means "Freaking B***tards" right? Most of all, now he got people wary about his words and thoughts and actions. He was complaining about a group of people calling him a man whore. That is how he stands out and he cant help people judging him either. But he felt it was good letting such company off his life that does NOT criticism but plain HATRED. He said to me later, he was not upset about being called a man whore, but upset about losing respect a little that he ever had among the peers he hung out with. Good thing about Online relationships is you can let go pretty easy!
The reason for this blog is NOT vents! Its rather something interesting.
Most of the visitors to this blog come from Google. And you might find it weird, but the keyword that makes the highest number of unique visitors is "Ravan". May be you can get lucky with that keyword as well. And Mind it, I have nothing, whatsoever, concerned with Ramayan or Ravan in my personal blog.
But even interesting. Today, there was a visitor from tang-one-thirty-three.mit.edu with following credentials.
Referrer http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=how+to+screw+a+professor
Search Engine Google
Keywords how, screw, professor
Talk about the students anywhere. They want to screw their professors so bad no matter the expertise! : )
Will be back shortly.

So - is it a new beginning?
Great Anticipations, of course!
New President, New Status, New Job, New Place(May be), New Circle(May be), New Band. There's so much to look forward to. 2008 had been eventful no doubts, but would 2009 stand up to its mark? Perhaps new ventures that is incomparable to the ones in 2008. Surety : I'll be Off Academics and would plan to be off a little longer this time. Forever? Shall see.
To Mark 2008's achievements, they even added a LEAP SECOND. Who they - dont ask!
There was a nice turnout of crowd on the "Mojo Rides" concert. Had some stunts and more important- tried to improve on performance spirits! It was superb, at least, on my standards. Too bad - didn't capture the excitement. Good though that some moments last for a three hour span, and memories of it last forever!
Changes are bound to happen in the year ahead, but 2008 remained pretty as what i had expected.
Expectations and Predictions and Wishes!
=> YAHOO! - please seriously consider revising efforts! I am a big fan of YAHOO! no matter how they suck now - in economic terms! I hope i were in the 2000 era and made predictions! I would have predicted YAHOO would buy Google sometime around in 2002. But wait, i didnt even start blogging then. I was too busy with Yahoo Geocities! And the deal maker was a sucker!
=> OMAHA - A growing city, A revering affection cos i've stayed in here for too long for me to be staying at any place. You're a growing city - but increase the pace. Acknowledge and accept changes to its best! With the advent of three giants MS, Yahoo! and Google, Now you'd have to lure plenty start-ups! Good Luck for the years ahead.
=> POKHARA - Not been to PKR, for some years now. But, same with you! Hope you catch up the investors and build more businesses and keep comparable to the capital city.
=> ELF - F you Dude! You don't even deserve a prediction. I know you'd sloth bad! But Hopefully, you'd spend more time productive than talking to random people, talking random things and being a ROMEO around! I know you wont! ; ) You're a born flirt!
Happy New Year wishes to all!

Cognition!
I am equally 'unaware' of the word as you probably are. So lets drill this together!
How would you think that your knowledge differs from that of your peers? Do you even believe it does? Or are you the one who's looking for a peer with a perfect match always? Do you equally argue as you agree to each other?
I have been an ardent admirer of "differences". I talk to people to know how different the individual is. Of course, i got a swelled head when we run into arguments. But hey, you should know that could be one of our differences. Or May be, which probably is, one of our commonalities!
For example, Mumbai Attack - IMO is because of the difference of opinion between blatant religious followers who never learnt to respect differences. Or, the massive jobs cut along with the continually downward economy - IMO is because of cognitive dissonance, ultra optimism or pessimism. Put a considerable difference margin before you make a decision.
Differences do not necessarily lead to destruction. Some people make a difference - so they lead. Differences is one of the sole reason we come up with great ideas. Had it not been different ways of cognition on things, i'd have been scribing these words on some rock.
I wouldnt say let there be no religion as John Lennon said. I say let there be differences among us, but let us learn to appreciate, collaborate and move forward learning from the differences we possess. Let there be many cultures, diverse faces in the community, and let us just change our thoughts - to appreciate that we have different thoughts and that we are all different!
It is complex i know - cos that beats the whole purpose of being different when we all agree to have similar thoughts. But hey, why not make it a commonality while you still remain different in many other things!

Pretty Long, huh!
It came to me that this place was abandoned. The place i was FOR myself , the place i was WITHIN me and the place where i apparently had verbal orgies! Or is that an overstatement?
Lots happened, and no updates - i must have been lazy!
Got an internship at an organization that promises me full time and sponsorship and what not! And a verse strikes me "The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But i have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep". Its a good time nevertheless, seeing that networks over here are equally messy/mismanaged as it was in my `con-tree`. I guess, that's what i got hired for. And though not bounded to wireless only, i am a wireless engineering intern. Lots of line ups for things that i need to study for the RF and signals domain. It is interesting though.
Few weeks back , i played on a concert opening up for some established artists. With so much respect for them, we went on a bar after our performance! And when we came back, the show had finished. Luckily, people called at the middle of their show and said, we want you guys back in stage, as people are running away! I am sure, they played good music, but may be they lacked dashing performers! If you know what i mean! Youth Power! Or, may be the guy who called was just a young crowd too! We are all YOUNG - if you ask me. The band formed in some 2 weeks' time before the show and we called it "MOJO". Utter it once, and you're sure to do it again! "MOJO MOJO"! There you go.
We do have a concert lined up within a month from now, so if you happen to pass by, you're welcome to attend. It'd mostly be Nepali 'rock' numbers along with Steppenwolf's born to be wild! (heavy metal thunder) and may be an iron maiden track "losfer words". We still got a month. We jammed this weekend for a start, and it wasnt bad at all. Guys were enthusiastic about making it happen this time!
So, what else?
Academics - Talk NOT!
Sleep - my sleeping pattern has changed!
Relationship - Oh well! No date.
Hair - I had some spikes few days before. It wasn't that bad either.
Alcohol - Do i even need to say? I just got back with memories of German beers at Oktoberfest yesterday.
Places - None. I seem to love my zip code! : ) (Commute to work - exception)
Trauma/Insanity - it seems to be in a dormant stage! Somebody wake the Satan in me!
And i am suddenly blank. I will try to frequent more. Please enjoy the song!

14 - An Elucidation
1. Fourteen is my favorite number.
2. Two Lucky Sevens equal Fourteen. Fuck it - i am happy-go-lucky!
3. I have lived "four" teens! (A Musician , A Geek, A Hopeless Romantic, A Wanna-be misanthropist.)
4. 14 - Atomic Number for Silicon .. Oh wait, SILICON - is that what my life's revolving around?
5. Fourteen is an unlucky number to the Chinese. You must have got an idea now to what i am referring to!
6. Fourteen is a composite number. No doubt i am complex.
7. 7 * 2 should be Fourteen, right on! That makes me crazy! :P
8. 14 - The number of days in a Fortnight... I absolutely love mid-month crises!
9. 14 is the number of lines in a sonnet. Sonnet 116 - Shakespeare - I would write that if he hadn't.
10. Its been exactly 14 hours since NOON : )
11. It didnt take me 14 minutes to come up with this blog. Took more! - I am honest.
12. Believe it or not, Count the number of words in this sentence - exactly fourteen.
13. I am fourteen days ahead of getting a year older.
14. This has to be the fourteenth point. Precisely!

Sleepless!
Probably, its got to do with me having too much time to waste - even sleep dont mesmerize me anymore.
For the creators of sleep - you surely knew how to save energy.
My work has been confined to reducing energy consumption on devices by making them sleep more when not in action. And Look at me, i have been exactly the opposite! Talk about hypocrisy!
I learnt recently that there are stages of Sleep. Check on Wiki and you'll find that there are stages like :
1. The brain transforms from Alpha waves (8-13Hz) to Theta waves (4-7Hz). Thats the time when i lose conscious awareness of my environment.
2. Then Sleep Spindles(12-16Hz) and K-Complexes take over me. The conscious awareness completely disappears.
3. Delta Waves and Delta Rhythms (0.5-4Hz) assists me for a deep sleep with less than 50% of total wave-patterns.
4. The delta waves make up for more than 50% at the final stage of my sleep, where i go completely sleeping!
So, to sum it up , and as per my source of wiki , i go onto sleep with stages as below.
1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 3 , 2 , REM (Rapid Eye Movement)
(the 4 stages are characterized into NREM (Non-Rapid Eye Movement))
Anyway, Late Night Sleeping : but i still do maintain my required sleeping hours to 7-8.
I am drinking now. (Lots of water - for a change today ) , cos i knew alcohol might suppress my later stages of sleep. : )
Good Night People! Sleep Well! : )
