Crossbow Motes - seems like a "long forgiven" / "long forgone" lover. The network layer greedy-forwarding implementation and the underlying link layer implementation and those codes in NesC .. I have kept it aside my mind for like 3 weeks now, and branched out on a different horizon. YES, i am hired to build a Widget.
Some interesting insights that i gained during past few weeks.
1. An intern is so less expected than a researcher. [ could be the opposite when they burden me up ;) ]
2. Technology is far exciting than you think it is , and yes, it is all OVER HYPED. Have you used XAML ? ok , good at least You Know. Now , try these: XUL , BPEL, ZUL , UIML, OOXML, GladeXML, WPF, IronPython, F#, Boo, Blah , ELFTRAUMA (only to name a few)
3. Every technology, whether it be the most primitive one, or the most advanced one, is the look-out for the next year. This insight just cracked me up! While on research, i was a frequenter of wsnblog. Now, its more of the Yahoo! widgets, Dashboard widgets and GWT toolkits, Microsoft Gadgets documentations, forums and all. These websites, blogs and many more say : widgets are the look for next generation of Off/On-Browser Desktop/Mobile Applications. I am now pretty sure - wherever you step-in on technology, you'd find being involved in the most "demanding-promising-alluring-beguiling" look-out of a decade ahead.
4. One thing for sure, inferred from the third insight. NO TECHNOLOGY REMAINS FOREVER. GET UPDATED OR KEEP SCRATCHING YOUR B*LLS. :)
5. Always let your Project Manager know your "lunch hours". :P Unlucky that i am, i missed a clients meeting yesterday by some minutes.
6. An Intern gets so much time that if he wants to keep writing his blog, he can - for the whole day.
- Else than that, he broods over Iran's plan to execute porn stars and people involved in adult movies considering them "corruptors of the world".
- He smiles at Steve Jobs for being so overly confident to call a "BETA" software secure from the first day itself [contradiction in itself].
- He tries installing Safari for windows and crashes it using one of the "code-snippet" provided by a hacker.

Here is a description of ELFTRAUMA:
A Reading tablet that takes you to a new dimension of thinking, and at the same time confuses you to reach you to that limbo where you can see few choices, be satisfied with what you read(due to lucidness in language) or be overwhelmed by the speed of writer's imagination coherent with the words that flow with it.
Dosage: At least once its updated, recommended is as much as you can until you reach where writer wants you to take.
(Warning: Like all tech spec writers I have not tested this myself, its just my speculation)
